We'd done every format that exists in the South Bay: restaurant takeovers, catered office dinners, private dining room events. The hibachi chef format was categorically better than all of them. Dual stations handled the full group, the live performance kept everyone genuinely engaged for 90 minutes, and the kind of energy it created among the team carried over into the following week in a way that no other format we'd used had done. Willow Glen anniversary dinner at our property — 20 guests in our backyard. We've been in this neighborhood for sixteen years and this was the first event format that felt genuinely commensurate with the occasion we were celebrating. The chef set up in 20 minutes, served filet mignon and lobster tail across the full table, and performed for 90 minutes with complete skill. The backyard was spotless when he left.
